DAF CF65/75/85 Внутреннее освещение кабины SH

18 INTERIOR LIGHTING SH CAB
DRIVER’S SIDE STEPWELL LIGHTING,
INTERIOR LIGHTING AND DOOR SWITCH
When the door on the driver’s side is opened,
door switch (E514) is activated (connection
between 1 - 2). A a result, there is a voltage
on C062, C063 and on D911 (alarm system)
through fuse E045 (interior lighting fuse), wire
1107, contacts 1 - 2 of door switch E514, wire
2647, diode D783 (driver’s side interior
lighting diode) and wire 2600. This activates
the stepwell lighting on both the driver’s side
(C062) and the co-driver’s side (C063). The
VIC (D900) also receives a voltage on
connection point 1 and connector 595. The
VIC then turns on the cab lighting
(C119/C192), provided the switches (C119,
C192, C859 and C837) are in the correct
position, activating it through wire 2610
(connection point 4, connector 592 of the VIC
unit).
When the door on the driver’s side is closed
(contacts 1 - 2 of door switch E514
interrupted), the voltage to connection point 1
and connector 595 of the VIC is lost.
Connection point 4 and connector 592 will
then continue to be supplied with power for
another 9 seconds approximately. After
approximately 9 seconds, the power supply is
switched off and the lights go out.
If the vehicle ignition is switched on (contact
made) within 9 seconds, the power supply to
connection point 4, connector 592 of the VIC
will be switched off immediately. The interior
lighting will be switched off immediately. If the
alarm system (D911, connection point 16 of
connector 604, wire 3647) sends a voltage to
connection point 13, connector 594 of the VIC
to indicate that the doors have locked
correctly, the lighting will also go off
immediately.
CO-DRIVER’S SIDE STEPWELL LIGHTING,
INTERIOR LIGHTING AND DOOR SWITCH
When the door on the co-driver’s side is
opened, door switch (E515) is activated
(connection between 1 - 2).
As a result, there is also a voltage on both
C062 and C063 through fuse E045 (interior
lighting fuse), wire 1107, contacts 1 - 2 of door
switch E515 and wire 2600. This activates the
stepwell lighting on both the driver’s side
(C062) and the co-driver’s side (C063).
Interior lighting with map-reading light
(driver’s and co-driver’s side)
There is an interior light with map-reading light
on both sides of the cab in the overhead
console. The lamps operate in the same way
on the driver’s side and co-driver’s side.
A voltage is applied to connection point 2 of
C119 and C192 respectively through fuse
E045 and wire 1107. Depending on the switch
position, the interior light or the map-reading
light can be switched on individually or
together.
INTERIOR LIGHTS TWO-WAY SWITCHING
The condition to turn on both interior lights is
that C119 (interior light with switch, driver’s
side) and C192 (interior light with switch,
co-driver’s side) must be switched together.
Therefore, the switch is connected to contact
1.
Situation 1: Switch C837 in ’0’ position.
Switch C837 in middle position (contacts 5 - 3
and 6 - 4 connected).
The supply voltage and the earth are now
interrupted and the light does not work.

Situation 2:
Switch C837 set to position ’I’ (contacts 5 - 7
and 8 - 6 connected). A voltage is now applied
to connection point 1 of C119 and to
connection point 1 of C192 through fuse
E028, wire 1107, contacts 5 - 7 of C837, wire
2644, contacts 7 - 5 of C859 (driver’s side
roof console interior light) and wire 2632. The
earth is formed because connection point 3 of
C119 and connection point 3 of C192 are
connected to the vehicle earth through wire
9032 and contacts 8 - 6 of C837.
The lighting can now be switched on or off
using switch C859.
Situation 3:
Switch C837 set to position ’II’ (contacts 3 - 1
and 2 - 4 connected). A voltage is now applied
to connection point 1 of C119 and to
connection point 1 of C192 through fuse
E028, wire 1107, contacts 3 - 1 of C837, wire
2645, contacts 1 - 5 of C859 (driver’s side
roof console interior light) and wire 2632. The
earth is formed because connection point 3 of
C119 and connection point 3 of C192 are
connected to the vehicle earth through wire
9032 and contacts 2 - 4 of C837.
The lighting can now be switched on or off
using switch C859.
Explanation of two-way switching in vehicle
Storage compartment lighting
When the door of the storage compartment is
closed there is a voltage on C067 (left storage
compartment lighting) through fuse E142
(accessories before ignition fuse), wire 1154.
When the door of the storage compartment is
opened (contacts 1 - 2 of storage
compartment lighting switch E528 are
connected), the voltage is connected to earth
through wire 2608 and contacts 1 - 2 of E528
(storage compartment lighting switch). This
switches on the storage compartment light.
The storage compartment light works
independently of the ignition.
Bunk lamp
The bunk lamp C115 is switched on by a
switch in the light fitting. The bunk lamp works
independently of the ignition. Voltage is
applied to connection point 1 of C115 through
fuse E045, wire 1107. Connection point 2 of
C115 is connected to earth. When the switch
is operated (connection between contact 1 -
2) the lamp goes on.
Interior nightlight
When switch C735 (interior nightlight switch )
is operated (connection between 5 - 1), a
voltage is applied to connection point 1 of
C191 (middle nightlight) through fuse E045
(interior lighting fuse), wire 1107, contacts 5-1
of nightlight switch C735 and wire 2617. This
switches the nightlight on. The nightlight
works independently of the ignition.
