33 ROOF SPOTLIGHTS/COOLER BOX/ROTATING LIGHTS
SPOTLIGHTS ON ROOF
Marker/parking lights in roof spotlights.
A voltage is applied to connection point 2 of
C622 (light switch) through fuse E084 and
wire 1101. When this switch is switched on
(connection between contacts 2 - 1), the
voltage is applied to connection point 85 of
relay G000 (tail light/side-light relay) via wire
2100. This is energised. A voltage is now
applied to C074 (left rear side-light) and C012
(left front side-light) respectively and to C163,
C165, C167 and C169 (side-light/roof
spotlights) respectively through contacts 30 -
87 of relay G000, fuse E000 and wire 2102.
The marker and parking lights in the spotlights
now come on.
Roof spotlights
A voltage is applied to connection point 8 of
C832 (right direction indicator/windscreen
wiper steering column switch) through fuse
E084 and wire 1101. When this switch is
switched on (connection between contacts 8 -
9), voltage is applied to connection point 85 of
relay G002 (main beam relay) via wire 2120.
This is energised. A voltage is now applied to
C002 (left main beam) and connection point 6
of C813 (roof spotlights switch) respectively
through contacts 30 - 87 of relay G002, fuse
E006 and wire 2122.
When this switch is closed (connection
between contacts 6 - 2), voltage is also
applied to connection point 85 of G299 (roof
spotlights relay). This is energised. A voltage
is now applied to connection point 1 of C162,
C164, C166 and C168 (roof spotlights)
respectively through fuse E142, wire 1154 and
contacts 30 - 87 of G299. These will now light
up.
COOLER BOX
The cooler box is connected to voltage
BEFORE ignition. Voltage is also applied to
connection point 1 of B358 (cooler box)
through fuse E142 and wire 1154.
ROTATING LIGHTS
The rotating lights are connected to voltage
AFTER ignition. A voltage is applied to
connection point 6 of C716 (blue rotating light
switch) through fuse E163 and wire 1258.
When the switch is closed (connection
between contacts 6 - 2), voltage is applied to
C144 (driver’s side blue rotating light) and
C145 (co-driver’s side blue rotating light)
through wire 2017. These rotating lights will
now come on. Orange rotating lights can be
used instead of blue rotating lights in
combination with switch C715.
