19 MIRROR HEATING/MIRROR ADJUSTMENT
MIRROR HEATING
When the mirror heating switch (C746) is
operated, a voltage is applied to heating
element B017 (driver’s side) and B018
(co-driver’s side) through fuse E044, wire
1208 and switch C746 (contacts 1 - 2) and
wire 4532.
The mirror heating can only be switched on
when the contact relay has been energised
(contact ’on’).
MIRROR ADJUSTMENT
The outside mirrors are adjusted using the
“joystick” switches C695 (driver’s side) and
C696 (co-driver’s side). When the handle of
the switch is moved from the rest position
(centre) in a particular direction, power is
supplied to the mirror adjustment motor B005
(driver’s side) or B006 (co-driver’s side) and
the corresponding mirror responds following
the movement of the handle.
Wires 4770 and 4774 (driver’s side) or 4771
and 4775 (co-driver’s side) supply power to
the motor for left-right movement. Wires 4772
and 4774 (driver’s side) or 4773 and 4775
(co-driver’s side) supply power to the motor
for the up-down movement.
The mirror adjustment system can only be
used if the contact relay is energised.

1208 and pin 2 is connected to earth.
17 If RHD pin 4 is connected to wire
1208 and pin 2 is connected to earth.
