RECIRCULATION VALVE
When C802 is operated (connection between
contacts 2 - 3), a voltage is applied to
connection point 1 of G257 and G258 through
fuse E031, wire 1201, contacts 2-3 of C802
and wire 4659. This relay is energised and, as
a result, a connection is made between
contacts 3 - 5. This causes a voltage to be
applied to connection point 1 of relay B252
through fuse E031, wire 1201 and contacts 5 -
3 of relay G257 and wire 5053. The other
connection point 2 is connected to earth
through wire 5054 and contacts 3 - 5 of relay
G258. The recirculation valve, driven by B252,
will now close.
The VIC (D900) also receives a voltage on
connection point 8. The VIC activates the
“recirculation” warning indicator on the
instrument panel via the I-CAN.
HEATER FAN
A voltage is applied to connection point 8 of
B015 (4-speed heater fan) through fuse E031
and wire 1201.
Depending on the position of C882 (heater fan
switch), the fan will start operating.
The heater knob has five positions:
Off: (position 0): Heater fan (B015) off.
Position 1: (Connection between contacts 2
and 6). The fan runs at the lowest speed.
Voltage is applied to connection point 8 of
B015 through fuse E031 and wire 1201. The
earth is formed through connection point 7 of
B015, wire 4658, the contacts of thermal
switch 6 - 5 (B015), wire 4654, through three
resistors (B015), wire 4650 and contacts 2 - 6
of C882.
Position 2: (Connection between contacts 2
and 6). The fan runs slightly faster.
Voltage is applied to connection point 8 of
B015 through fuse E031 and wire 1201. The
earth is formed through connection point 7 of
B015, wire 4658, the contacts of thermal
switch 6 - 5 (B015), wire 4654, through two
resistors (B015), wire 4651 and contacts 4 - 6
of C882.
Position 3: (Connection between contacts 3
and 6). The fan runs at the highest speed but
one.
Voltage is applied to connection point 8 of
B015 through fuse E031 and wire 1201. The
earth is formed through connection point 7 of
B015, wire 4658, the contacts of thermal
switch 6 - 5 (B015), wire 4654, through one
resistor (B015), wire 4652 and contacts 3 - 6
of C882.
Position 4: (Connection between contacts 1
and 6). The fan runs at the highest speed.
Voltage is applied to connection point 8 of
B015 through fuse E031 and wire 1201. The
earth is formed through connection point 7 of
B015, wire 4658, contacts 6 - 5 of the thermal
switch (B015)
